This November 9th, for the 34th year, VNA Home Health acknowledged its dedicated employees with a staff recognition program and breakfast.
VNA Home Health CEO Susan Larman and Board President Anthony Durante were pleased to present the awards to our honored employees. In addition to recognizing employees for their years of service to the agency, we ask our staff to nominate their colleagues for two very special awards.
Michelle Powers, our Inventory Control Specialist, received the New Employee Award, which acknowledges a new employee who has shown exceptional efforts and commitment to the agency, its patients and co-workers. Her colleagues noted that Michelle is “a gem of an employee. She is extremely thorough, efficient, and diligent.”
The Employee of Excellence Award honors an employee who always strives for and achieves excellence in his or her job, and demonstrates the highest levels of dedication and commitment. The award was named after retired nurse Grace Roznowski, who continues to be a cherished presence at VNA Home Health. Registered Nurse Alex Sozi was the recipient of this year’s “Grace Award.” Alex’s co-workers said that… “he is well-liked by staff, clients, and their families. Alex has a great rapport with his patients and a positive attitude.”
Congratulations to Michelle and Alex, and to the following VNA staff members who were honored with service awards for dedicating a significant number of years to VNA Home Health. We’re proud to work with them all.
