Insurance
- Medical coverage is available for individuals & families. You have a choice of carrier and the individual employee premium is paid by the employer.
- Dental coverage is available for individuals & families. The premium is paid by the employee.
- Group Life coverage is provided to eligible employees.
- Professional Liability/ Malpractice coverage is provided by the VNA.
- Automobile Business Insurance is reimbursed to clinical employees up to the determined annual amount.
- Workers Compensation coverage is provided as required under the NYS Workers' Compensation Law.
- Short-term Disability coverage is provided as required under the NYS Disability Law.
- Unemployment Insurance is provided as required under NYS law.
- Social Security deductions are equally shared as required by federal law.

Optional Pretax Programs
- Medical/Dental Premiums are deducted before payroll tax.
- Dependent Care Reimbursement Account allows employees to make a pretax contribution to a reimbursement account to cover eligible childcare expenses.
- Flex Benefit/Health Care Reimbursement Account allows to make a pretax contribution to a reimbursement account to cover eligible health care expenses.
- Tax Sheltered Annuity Plan allows contributions to be made prior to payroll taxes being deducted and postpones tax liability.
- 529 College Savings Plan allows contributions to be made prior to payroll taxes being deducted, upon withdrawal this money is not eligible for federal income tax and your are able to claim a NYS tax deduction for the contributions.
